Job summary

Club Z! Tutoring is seeking a Pre-K and Kindergarten Tutor to work with learners in the greater Rockville, Bethesda, and Silver Spring areas.

You will provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring, focusing on foundational math, reading, writing, and SEL, matching activities to each student’s age and learning style. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, tracking progress with families, and maintaining a supportive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching young learners.
• Strong knowledge of Kindergarten and early elementary subjects (ELA and numeracy).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience with younger students is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions for Pre-K and early elementary students.
• Develop and implement personalized activity-based lesson plans.
• Communicate progress and goals with parents.
