Club Z! Bethesda is seeking an experienced tutor to provide one-on-one tutoring to an 8th-grade student in the Rockville and Potomac, Maryland areas. This in-home position emphasizes math, English and science, plus study skills and executive functioning.

You’ll review homework, prep for tests, and communicate progress to parents. We offer competitive pay in the $31–$34/hour range, flexible scheduling, onboarding support, and a track record of helping students improve.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring for an 8th-grade student in core subjects, with a priority focus on math.

• Math: Pre-algebra, algebra 1 concepts, geometry foundations
• English/Language Arts: Reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar
• Study Skills & Executive Functioning: Organization, time management, note-taking
• Science: Life science, earth science, physical scie nce
• Test Prep: MCAP and MAPpreparation, study strategies
