Job summary

Mayvin, Inc. seeks an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)/Grants Contract Specialist to support the U.S. Marshals Service in the Prisoner Operations Division.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust background clearance. Responsibilities include processing IGAs, reviewing applications for completeness, and assisting with pre-award development, wage determinations, and cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business credit.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Responsibilities

• Process new and existing Intergovernmental Agreements (IGAs) and provide analytical support.
• Review each IGA application for completeness and accuracy before handing off to the IGA Specialist.
• Assist with pre-award development including wage determinations, inspection reports, market research, and cost analysis.
• Assist with updating policies, congressional inquiries, and FOIA requests.
• Support procurement-related guidance to customers via email and phone.

Mayvin is seeking an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA)/Grants Contract Specialist to support our U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Prisoner Operations Division (POD). The Contract Specialist will process new and existing IGAs and provide analytical support to help evaluate and justify future rates paid to county and state agencies.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.Responsibilities:Receive all Intergovernmental Agreements applications from various facilities request to do buisness with USMS or request a rate increase for housing USMS prisonorReview each application for completeness and accuracy prior to handing it off to the Intergovernmental Agreement SpecialistAssist each Specialist with pre-award development, which includes requesting Department of Labor wage determinations, uploading USMS facility inspection reports, conducting market research and cost analysis to assist Specialist determining fair and reasonable housing and guard ratesAssist with updating policies and procedures, congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requestsAssist the Intergovernmental Agreements Team in providing customers with guidance on procurement related matters by way of email requests and phone callsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business creditMinimum 4 years of relevant work experienceMust have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition RegulationsPreferred Qualifications:Recent experience as Grant/IGA specialistExperience with 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT)FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II is preferredAbout MayvinMayvin is more than a workplace — it’s a community built on innovation, ingenuity, and impact.
