Job summary

AllianceBernstein L.P. is seeking a Fixed Income Trader for the Investment Grade Credit Desk within the Global Fixed Income Trading team. Role location is Nashville or New York, collaborating with NY, Nashville, London, and Hong Kong teams.

The candidate will develop market understanding, execute orders, and drive investment discussions with portfolio managers and analysts, while improving trading efficiency and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in a credit trading role, with IG or HY US markets exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and risk management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance understanding of fixed income markets and the desk's investment strategies.
• Execute orders and source liquidity in line with best execution and risk management policies.
• Contribute to investment discussions by sharing market views with senior traders and portfolio managers.
• Collaborate on projects to improve trading efficiency and mitigate operational risk.
• Gather and disseminate market data to identify actionable trade ideas and opportunities.
• Represent AllianceBernstein with sell-side relationships and leverage existing networks.
