Job summary

AB, a leading global investment management firm, seeks a Fixed Income Trader for the US Global Fixed Income Trading team. Based in Nashville or New York, you will execute orders, source liquidity and collaborate with senior traders and portfolio managers.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in credit trading (IG/HY US), strong risk management and programming skills (Python/SQL). A Finance or Economics degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in a credit trading role (IG/HY US markets).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Programming skills a plus, with Python & SQL primarily.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing understanding of fixed income markets and investment philosophies.
• Executing orders and sourcing liquidity with best execution and risk management practices.
• Drive the investment process by working with senior traders, PMs and analysts; share market views in strategy discussions.
• Work with senior traders on projects to enhance trading and investment processes and reduce operational risk.
• Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating market and security information to identify trade ideas and opportunities.
• Represent AB with the street and foster new sell-side trading relationships.
