Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Birmingham, AL seeks an Inspections Specialist (Superintendent) to act as the SME for all Inspector General programs and to advise on the Wing CCIP, USAP, CRP and FWA initiatives.

The role requires developing data-driven policies, coordinating with multiple commands, and guiding independent IG assessments to improve readiness, discipline, and efficiency across the Wing.

Qualifications

• SME for Inspector General programs and associated exercises.
• Experience informing policy through data-driven IG analysis.

Responsibilities

• SME for IG programs and Wing advisor for CCIP, USAP, CRP and FWA.
• Develops and applies a Risk Based Sampling Strategy using MICT, IGEMS and IGEMS-C to identify risk and ensure compliance.
• Plans and executes Wing CCIP related programs and conducts independent evaluations of high-risk mission areas.
• Manages Wing instruction and documentation for USAP and IG systems of record to support CCIP health.
• Serves as independent IG for CRP, investigations, FWA and Whistleblower Reprisal, guiding local guidance and policy.
