Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is partnering with a defense manufacturer in the Charleston, SC area to hire a Technical Project Manager. The role requires broad IT project-management experience and the ability to coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, business or PM.
• 5+ years managing complex IT projects with risks, schedules, resources and vendors.
• Production ERP experience required.
• IFS ERP experience, PMP/PMI-ACP/ITIL certifications and Agile/Waterfall/Scrum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, budgets, and priorities.
• Coordinating IT teams, business departments, vendors, and consultants.
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
• Leading meetings and keeping stakeholders and leadership informed.
• Ensuring proper testing, documentation, communication, change management, and deployment.
• Holding vendors and consultants accountable for deliverables.
• Improving project-management processes and standards across the organization.
• Oversee ERP and business application implementations and upgrades.
• Manage system integrations, APIs, and application development projects.
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, and technology migration initiatives.
• Support data, databases, reporting, and analytics projects.
• Manage cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives.
• Lead process automation and digital transformation projects.
• Coordinate vendor implementations and technology partnerships.
