Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an IFM COE Director to enable strategy, drive integrated service delivery, and manage national health, safety, and environmental programs for a major financial services account. The role leads the Integrated Facility Management Center of Excellence across Facility Management, Engineering, EHS, Energy & Sustainability, and Business Programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA or other secondary degree preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial real estate and/or Facilities Management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Facilities management, Facilities Engineering, Energy and Sustainability, and Environmental and Safety.
  • Demonstrated leadership/management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas concisely.
  • Experience in implementing QA and continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills – financial and planning.
  • Public speaking and ability to engage large groups.

The Opportunity

The IFM COE Director is responsible for enabling strategy and integrated service delivery and service line integration for one of JLL's largest global financial services accounts. This leader is also responsible for driving innovation, establishing best practices and standards, driving cost savings, operational efficiency and managing national programs such as health, safety, and environmental across the account while serving as the liaison between the Alliance Director and JLL Organization. This leader will oversee the Integrated Facility Management Center of Excellence including Facility Management, Engineering, Health Safety and Environmental, Energy & Sustainability, and Business Programs. The position will report directly to the Governance & Enablement Director of this account.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of Facilities Management within the portfolio: Accountable for results of the TFM team in the areas of Facility Management practices, including Business Continuity, building level financials, Customer Experience, Facility Condition Inspections used to build Repair & Maintenance budgets, work order management and centrally executing Client initiatives.
  • Accountable for results for TFM EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) in the areas of Environmental compliance with laws, codes and regulations.
  • Accountable for results of the TFM Engineering in the areas of JLL’s Operations Compliance Program (OCP/JCAP), preventative maintenance programs such as NGM (next generation maintenance), Mobile Engineering processes, and collaboration with regional engineering leadership on the account.
  • Accountable for the continuous application and implementation of Corrigo technology platform capabilities and enhancements, including the development and optimization of AI-driven functionality, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while identifying and capitalizing on emerging capabilities to maximize operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes.
  • Integrate service delivery platform and resources while effectively managing handoffs.
  • Establish the vision and strategy of the team ensuring there is alignment with the client objectives and interests.
  • Anticipate client needs and deliver to outperform on the key performance indicators.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing a seamless interface to client; demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
  • Create and manage high performing teams which not only deliver operational excellence but keep employees engaged and thriving, and in conjunction with the REMS leadership team, understand the firm’s strategy and goals and can translate those into the business opportunities.
  • Build successful relationships across the account, including regional and COE, to ensure business requirements are understood and to promote confidence, forward planning and best practices – be a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with account-wide team and proactively share and reapply all learnings, successes and best practices.
  • Development and management of innovation strategy by identifying improvement opportunities requiring creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Also, will provide leadership to bring on-account leading practices and/or innovations developed in the firm.
  • Lead various project teams on projects such as developing new processes and tools or finding better ways to communicate information to drive results.
  • Become a reference for best-in-class service delivery that can be leveraged to expand JLL's business.
  • Identify needs and prepare strategic vision to develop and lead programs that create value for the client and ensure programs meet or exceed expectations.
  • Follow-through by providing management and leadership direction for the design, development and implementation of programs.
  • Hire, attract and retain a team of top talent employees; improve team performance through regular coaching and feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA or other secondary degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial real estate and/or Facilities Management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Facilities management, Facilities Engineering, Energy and Sustainability, and Environmental and Safety.
  • Demonstrated leadership/management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and summarized manner.
  • Ability to recognize and diagnose trends and patterns and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in implementing quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills – both financial and planning.
  • Public speaking acumen and the ability to engage large groups.
  • Ability to develop and maintain trust with internal and client stakeholders.
  • Previous experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and a desire to tackle new challenges.
  • Ability to move people to action, including self, with a sense of urgency.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook).

Remote, although strong preference given to candidates in the Charlotte, NC market.

Expected compensation for this position: 183,750.00 – 267,500.00 USD per year.

Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
