Xcimer Energy, based in Denver, CO, is hiring a Program Director to lead the IFE program. The role requires coordinating fusion science, laser, chamber, and infrastructure teams to deliver an executable development roadmap that aligns with leadership priorities and budget constraints.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex, capital-intensive programs, with strong systems engineering and risk management capabilities, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• MS in physics, mechanical or nuclear engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years leading large, complex programs in engineering-intensive environments.
• Proven track record guiding large technical teams through all phases of program delivery.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, risk management and design reviews.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Oversee design, planning and execution strategy of a large-scale, billion-dollar program.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to matrixed engineering, science and operations teams.
• Lead IFE system architecture from concept to readiness and operation.
• Manage budgets, resources and schedules with proactive risk mitigation.
• Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
