Job summary

FullBloom is seeking an IEP Coordinator to collaborate with the Director and resource team to coordinate and evaluate the educational program. You will mentor classroom staff, support onboarding, and work across departments to implement effective special education services for students requiring additional support.

Responsibilities include coordinating IEP processes, assisting with staff recruitment, organizing professional development, and ensuring ISBE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SPED Teacher Certification or Principal Certification preferred.
• Experience working with similar student populations in school settings.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs, and assign students within special education programs.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding campus staff.
• Develop transition planning and Indicator 13 services.
• Maintain IEP databases and student files.
• Prepare and attend IEP meetings, ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Plan staff and parent education related to special education programs.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with school districts, parents and community.
• Oversee crisis intervention at the school and support staff training.
