Job summary

The role emphasizes implementing IEP objectives, collaboration with school teams, and maintaining records. A Bachelor's in Education and Ohio certification are required, with a one-year initial contract and benefits under Board policies.

Qualifications

• Ohio Educational Certificate/License or eligibility.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Exceptional organizational and communications skills.
• Abilities to promote positive internal and external customer relations.
• Alternatives to the above as approved by the Governing Board.

Responsibilities

• Formulates a developmentally sequential program and implements daily lesson plans.
• Develops compliant IEPs based on student identified needs.
• Implements instructional objectives delineated in the IEP and monitors related services.
• Incorporates mental health services and positive behavior supports into daily program.
• Develops positive working relationships with students, parents, staff and community.
• Maintains educational, behavioral and attendance records of students served.
• Attends in-services, workshops and staff meetings to ensure delivery of services.
