IEHP is seeking a Special Programs Manager II to oversee end-to-end program initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and fiscal sustainability. You will coordinate across departments, support release management, and drive issue resolution at executive levels, including external partners.

A strong background in PM, ML, statistics, and information retrieval is essential, with leadership in a multicultural environment.

• Master’s degree required or equivalent certification (PMI-PBA, PMP, CBAP or PMI-PBA).
• Minimum five years of relevant program/project management experience.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistics, and information retrieval.

Under the direction of department leadership, the Special Programs Manager II will be responsible for program management including initiation, planning, development, and monitoring of Special Programs implementations in order to ensure on time accuracy and fiscal sustainability. This position will act as a liaison between several functional departments for related activities to ensure projects and issues are tracked, updated, and reported out frequently as scheduled. This position will provide expertise and knowledge to support management processes for release management, and interdepartmental issue response and resolution management. Issues and projects assigned for this position will generally be medium-to-high priority / size of complexity. This position will be involved with technology deployments and communications of projects and issue management at the Manager, Director, and Chief levels as well as external organizations and providers.

As this position reports to upper management in Health Services, the assignments may be related to population health, any of the departments reporting to the Vice President, or any enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
• Strategic thinker with experience in program and project management (PM)
• Expert experience with machine learning, statistics, and informational retrieval
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution required
  • In lieu of a Master’s degree, a relevant certification (i.e., PMP, PgMP, CBAP or PMI‑PBA is required)

Key Qualifications

• Ability to develop plans and has knowledge and application experience of standard PM practices
• This position provides key operational information and key organizational tactical / strategic information through the effective implementation of data initiatives
• Initiatives include data trending analyses, data profiling, data mining, data analysis, and promoting a data-aware culture throughout IEHP
• Must possess strong knowledge of project management and cross-organization coordination
• Understanding and sensitivity to a multi-cultural environment and community
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong project management skills, and strong issue management skills
• Microcomputer applications: spreadsheet, database, and word processing
• Must have excellent writing, interpersonal communication, organizational skills
• Must support a culture of collaboration
• A high degree of patience; attention to detail; ability to work in changing, fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable information

Pay Range

• $91,249.60 USD Annually – $120,910.40 USD Annually
