Job summary

Amentum seeks a Project Scheduler in Springfield, VA to join our project management team. You will create, baseline, and maintain detailed schedules for IDIQ contracts using MS-Project, coordinating with schedulers and engineers, and delivering weekly reporting and IMS/CDRL deliverables.

The ideal candidate has advanced MS-Project skills and a track record of managing complex schedules, with the ability to identify risks and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS-Project software.
• Experience developing detailed schedules for IDIQ contracts and managing IMS/CDRL submissions.
• Strong teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for trackers and weekly reports.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain one.

Responsibilities

• Create, baseline, and maintain detailed project schedules for IDIQ contracts utilizing MS-Project.
• Collaborate with schedulers, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure schedule alignment and accurate forecasting.
• Manage and update the comprehensive projects tracker for weekly leadership/client reporting.
• Prepare, review, and submit weekly Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.
• Generate and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with accurate timelines and milestones.
• Monitor progress vs baselines, identify delays/risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in project review meetings to provide schedule status updates and metrics.
