Job summary

The PMO Squad is seeking a hands-on master scheduler to own a complex, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project, onsite in Gilbert, AZ. This temp-to-hire engagement supports a multi-year program with strong scheduling discipline and close collaboration with the program team.

Candidates should have 3+ years of IMS/IMP scheduling, advanced MS Project skills, and the ability to present schedule status to management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience developing, managing, and integrating large, resource-loaded schedules into an IMS/IMP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience preparing and presenting schedule status/health briefings to management.
• Government or defense program experience is a plus, not required.
• Able to work full-time, onsite in the Gilbert, AZ area.

Responsibilities

• Own the IMS end to end: baseline schedules, in-work maintenance, critical-path and what-if analysis.
• Build and maintain resource-loaded schedules, including as contract deliverables (CDRLs).
• Track program progress, flag delays early, and drive corrective action to protect schedule and budget.
• Apply strong scheduling logic to produce realistic, deliverable-ready master schedules.
• Partner closely with Operations and engineering leads to keep communication proactive.
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of master schedule input data.

Our client, a U.S. defense and government systems integration company, is standing up the next phase of a major multi-year program and needs a hands‑on master scheduler to own a complex, resource‑loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project. This is a temp‑to‑hire engagement, onsite in the Gilbert, AZ area, supporting a program team that needs schedule discipline now.

What You’ll Do

• Own the IMS end to end: baseline schedules, in-work maintenance, critical‑path and what‑if analysis

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience developing, managing, and integrating large, resource‑loaded schedules into an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience preparing and presenting schedule status/health briefings to management
• Government or defense program experience (e.g., DoD acquisition or similar) is a plus, not required
• Able to work full‑time, onsite in the Gilbert, AZ area

Nice to Have

• Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs), Earned Value Management (EVM), DCMA 14‑Point Assessment familiarity
• Deltek Costpoint experience
• PMP or PMI‑SP (Scheduling Professional) certification
