Job summary

University of Central Florida seeks an Identity Systems Engineer III to advance IAM and cybersecurity capabilities across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will engineer, automate, and support AI-enabled identity lifecycle management, including SSO, MFA, and related services for a broad portfolio of campus applications.

Collaborating with IT and security teams, you will implement security controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive modernization of UCF's digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience engineering administering and supporting cloud-based IAM platforms (Azure AD, AWS, GCP) or similar enterprise identity solutions.
• Experience implementing, securing, and supporting identity federation and provisioning technologies (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP, Active Directory).

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Identity Platform Engineering and Operations: design, configure, and administer cloud-based identity systems and integrations (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, AWS, GCP).
• AI Identity Lifecycle Management: develop automation scripts/workflows to improve IAM operations and manage accounts across systems.
• Identity Security and Risk Reduction: monitor identity-related security events using tools like CrowdStrike and support access governance and compliance activities.
