Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to design and support enterprise identity platforms across Active Directory and Entra ID in a hybrid Buffalo, NY environment. The role emphasizes secure, scalable identity solutions and modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have deep AD/Entra ID expertise, identity lifecycle manage­ment, and experience with identity security controls, automation, and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Active Directory architecture and Entra ID
• Experience with identity lifecycle management and conditional access
• Familiarity with MFA, Zero Trust and modern authentication technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, support, and enhance enterprise identity platforms across AD and Entra ID
• Administer AD forests, domains, trusts, and group policy in a hybrid environment
• Leverage automation (PowerShell, APIs, Git) to streamline identity operations
• Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and incident response related to identity
