Job summary

The MathWorks, Inc. is seeking an IAM engineer to strengthen identity platforms across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identities.

You will collaborate with security, cloud, IT, and application teams to implement secure identity patterns for applications, services, and AI-enabled systems. In this role, you will design, build, and operate identity governance controls, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and automation to improve reliability, scalability, and resilience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in IAM or identity security.
• Expertise with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and improve core identity platforms and capabilities across human and non-human identities.
• Implement and support authentication, authorization, privileged access, and identity governance controls.
• Contribute to security, resilience, and recoverability of identity services through platform hardening and incident response.
• Build and maintain automation, scripts, documentation, and repeatable engineering processes.
