Job summary

Texas A&M International University is seeking a Systems Administrator III (Identity & Endpoint Services) to lead identity and endpoint projects. The role focuses on enterprise AD/Entra ID, Intune, Jamf Pro, and security policy enforcement across platforms.

The successful candidate will architect and maintain hybrid identity, manage endpoint deployment, and mentor a systems administration team in a complex university environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
• Five years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance for server administration and configures large/complex servers.
• Oversees analysis of system logs and problem management; provides Tier III support.
• Develops plans for large server hardware/software purchases and documentation of support methods.
• Maintains system security, disaster recovery plans, and enterprise identity/endpoint strategies.
• Collaborates to develop work plans, time schedules, and equipment requirements.
