Horizon3 is a remote cybersecurity company seeking a security‑minded IT Systems Engineer with a passion for networking. You’ll own controls for authentication, email, and network reliability across a distributed workforce.

The role combines security, identity, and email systems with network engineering, partnering with Security and Help Desk to maintain standards. 15% travel may be required, fully remote placement available.

Formación

• Hands-on experience administering an identity/SSO platform (e.g., Okta) in production.
• Experience configuring and maintaining email security controls including SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
• Experience administering cloud email/collaboration platforms (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise network infrastructure (switches/routers/firewalls/VPN).
• Knowledge of network security principles including segmentation and firewall policy management.
• Experience troubleshooting complex network, identity, and email connectivity issues.
• Experience documenting configurations, diagrams, and runbooks.
• Ability to scope and manage moderately complex projects end-to-end.
• Experience supporting a distributed or remote‑first workforce.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and secure Okta (or equivalent IdP/SSO) and manage access policies.
• Architect and secure the email/collaboration platform including DKIM/DMARC/SPF and data loss prevention.
• Own operations, monitoring, and incident response for network, email, and identity security controls.
• Triage incidents and follow incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with Security and Help Desk to resolve connectivity issues and onboarding/offboarding.
• Evaluate improvements to identity architecture and email security posture.
• Maintain network infrastructure documentation and diagrams.
• Design network changes with minimal business disruption.
• Manage vendor relationships for security tooling and support contracts.
