Job summary

Alpine School District is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, secure, and administer identity, endpoint, email security, and cloud collaboration platforms. You will manage Active Directory, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Azure, and provisioning through RapidIdentity, while ensuring compliance and supporting records requests.

The role collaborates with Security and Network Engineering to maintain IT standards and may assist architecture planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience in systems, identity, or endpoint administration will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on experience administering Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Azure, and Google Workspace in an enterprise or district environment.
• Experience with identity/access management platforms, email security gateways, and endpoint management/MDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer Active Directory domain services and GPOs with security controls.
• Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365/Azure identities including hybrid identity.
• Configure and monitor email security using Proofpoint and secure endpoints with JAMF/SCCM.
