Job summary

District Partners is seeking a hands-on security engineering professional to strengthen identity, access management, and security across the enterprise. The role covers Microsoft 365 and Entra administration, cloud and SaaS integrations, API security, and data protection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity or security engineering within an enterprise.
• Strong identity and access management experience including SSO and app integrations.
• Hands-on Microsoft administration across Microsoft 365 and Entra.
• Experience securing systems across cloud and SaaS environments (AWS helpful).
• Strong API and systems integration experience with credentials and secrets management.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell; Python is a plus.
• Experience with data protection, data classification, and data warehouses.
• Proven ability to own technical projects and communicate with stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI security and Model Context Protocol is valuable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve IAM across enterprise apps, including identity provider integrations and access policies.
• Own hands-on administration and security engineering across Microsoft 365, Entra, and related platforms.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot secure connections between cloud and SaaS apps, including APIs and credentials.
• Configure and improve data protection capabilities (DLP, CASCs, policy development, incident handling).
• Develop PowerShell and other scripting to improve identity workflows and cloud processes.
• Identify security gaps and independently drive projects from evaluation to implementation with milestones.
• Serve as a hands-on security resource and translate requirements into practical solutions.
