Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Identity Engineering Product Manager to own the identity roadmap and drive prioritization across teams. You’ll decide what ships next, balance stakeholder requests, and ensure solutions actually improve how people access systems.

You will collaborate with engineers on IAM topics, shape rollout plans, and turn data and customer feedback into roadmap items. This is a true ownership role with accountability and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, preferably on identity, access management, or security platform products.
• Track record of owning a roadmap and its outcomes.
• Enough technical depth to hold your own with engineers on identity, access management, and security subject matter.
• Strong opinions and the backbone to defend them.
• You care how users experience internal identity tools and you’re responsive, while still being firm about priorities.
• Clear, direct written and verbal communication with audiences from individual engineers to executives.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the identity roadmap end to end and prioritize requests for the next 2–4 weeks, this half, and what isn’t happening.
• Say no well to stakeholders when requests aren’t on the roadmap and explain why.
• Turn off-the-shelf tools into products that match how our teams work, not vendor defaults.
• Lead flagship initiatives like role-based access bundles for new hires based on role.
• Run rollouts with customer communication, change management, pilots, and adoption for major capabilities.
• Treat operations as a product signal by using data and feedback to drive improvements.
• Write PRDs, define success metrics, and report progress to engineering and leadership.
