Job summary

The City of New York’s ACS is seeking an Ideation Business Analyst within the Office of Information Technology. The role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and refining technology solutions to improve ACS operations and service delivery.

Bachelor’s degree with 24 CS credits and two years software experience.
Alternative: four-year degree with related coursework and experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and recommend improvements.
Define project scope and objectives with business units and technical teams.
Develop business requirements, functional specs, and system documentation.
Create process maps, screen mockups, and user stories for communication with developers.
Coordinate with BRMs, PMs, and stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
Participate in UAT, develop test cases, document defects, and propose improvements.
Provide training and support during system rollout.
Maintain BRD and user guides documentation.
