Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an IDD Vocational Center Instructor (Regular) to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use challenges. The role involves administrative tasks, program implementation, and supervision as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate degree preferred and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 2 years’ experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or role specific certification, a plus.
• ASL (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identifying and establishing performance measurement workstations with Department of Labor Standard.
• Overseeing quality of contract product and/or services.
• Maintain a safe, clean, neat and healthy workplace for clients and staff.
• Ensure clean, orderly and attractive work and storage areas.
• Implement and monitor client training programs within the workshop/classrooms.
• Perform time and cost studies to determine pay for piece or hourly work.
• Inventory materials for contract work and finished products.
• Document progress and maintain records of production quantity and quality.
• Document client start/stop times and schedules, verify PM stations every 6 months.
• Liaise between vocational center and community/business representatives.
