This is a community-based position providing individual, family, and group therapy to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) and Behavioral Health conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Current license or limited license in relevant discipline (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LP, LLPC, LPC)
  • Minimum two years of experience in counseling or behavioral support preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, treatment, training, monitoring, and coordination of services for persons with developmental disabilities. Conduct individual and group counseling, and consult with families and community agencies.

  • Assess functional abilities, behaviors, emotional and social needs, environment, and relationships
  • Participate in Person Centered Planning and support circle consultations
  • Develop and implement support plans to foster valued relationships, meaningful choices, and skill acquisition
  • Provide therapy and support services
  • Contribute to Behavior Treatment Plan reviews
