RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Registered Nurse (IDD RN) for an office-based, full-time role in Milledgeville, GA. You will provide holistic nursing care and assist with medication administration, while supporting group homes within up to an hour’s commute. Travel reimbursement is provided.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with occasional on-call support. This position emphasizes a structured, steady-paced environment outside hospital settings, with strong emphasis on IDD and

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Must communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, and the people supported and their families.
• Must work independently, be organized, and prioritize tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported
• Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel
• Administer medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administration
• Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled
• Conduct medication closest assessments
• Collect health related data
• Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team
• Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported
