Job summary
RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an Registered Nurse (IDD RN) for the Day Shift at our North Brunswick, NJ office. This full-time role covers Passaic, Bergen and Middlesex counties and requires travel to resident group homes as needed.
The RN will provide holistic nursing care for individuals with IDD, coordinate routine medical care, supervise licensed practical nurses and med techs, and support staff training. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited RN program.
- BSN preferred, but not required.
- Current RN license with no restrictions to practice.
- CPR certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with IDD.
- Observe, assess, and evaluate health needs.
- Coordinate preventative and routine medical care.
- Document nursing care provided.
- Assist with medical clinics on-site.
- Provide health-related training to staff.
- Teach medication administration to unlicensed personnel when allowed.
- Conduct medication pass observations and audits.
- Promote workplace safety and environmental practices.
