Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for the Riverbend ICF – Children & Adults in New Bern, NC. This on-site, full-time role focuses on delivering professional respiratory care to individuals with IDD, promoting respiratory health and clinical stability in a person-centered, interdisciplinary setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and an NC license, with a preference for at least 2 years of experience and IDD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner license in North Carolina (required).
• Minimum two years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; experience with IDD populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved respiratory therapy services per physician orders and regulations.
• Assess, monitor, and adjust respiratory care plans as needed.
• Document respiratory assessments, treatments, and equipment use in medical records.
• Communicate changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff and supervisors.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed; train staff where applicable.
• Lead and support interdisciplinary team meetings with updates on respiratory conditions.
