Job summary

Imagine! in Colorado seeks a Residential Support Worker to ensure health, safety and welfare of residents with IDD in homes and community settings. You will implement Person Centered Support Plans and coordinate with treatment teams to monitor progress.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and ability to handle crisis situations, with driving responsibilities and adherence to Imagine! policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of developmental disabilities system in Colorado.
• Ability to work with adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills at all professional levels.
• Ability to confront conflict productively.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with technology including word processing software and databases.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide health, safety and welfare for residents in homes and community.
• Implement and monitor Person Centered Support Plans.
• Attend to health, safety needs and daily living activities.
• Perform site maintenance tasks and transportation as needed.
• Communicate with residents, guardians and treatment teams.
• Monitor data and report to ensure regulatory compliance.
