Job summary

Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking a Residential Program Manager (QIDP) to oversee residential and community-based services for individuals with IDD. This leadership role focuses on person-centered care, independence, and meaningful goals, coordinating operations, staff, and documentation across multiple program sites in NY.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant IDD experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with IDD or in a related human services setting.
• Experience with OPWDD services, service coordination, person-centered planning, case management, or residential programs preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential and community-based programs and services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized goals, support plans, and programming.
• Participate in Life Plan and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation.
• Monitor program quality, operations, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Coordinate staffing coverage to ensure individuals receive consistent, quality support.
• Communicate with families, guardians, Care Managers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure incidents, investigations, and corrective actions are properly documented and addressed.
• Conduct program observations and support quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Support crisis intervention and emergency response when needed.
