Job summary

Albertina Kerr is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for an adult residential group home in Oregon City, OR. The role focuses on peer support, staff supervision, and budget assistance within a day-shift schedule.

You will collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure compliant operations, staff development, and positive, respectful engagement with individuals served, families, and agencies.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related field.
• Familiar with medication usage and side effects.
• Good math, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to meet background check, and reference checks, and driving requirements with a valid license and limited infractions.
• Ability to lift over 25 lbs and push/pull over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule and provide peer support to diverse staff.
• Maintain a work environment that emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and safety.
• Provide motivation and feedback to staff.
• Address conflict, facilitate resolution, and model professional relationships.
• Monitor staff training, incident reports, ISP goals, BSPs or other documents.
• Fill in when necessary to ensure staffing ratios and mentor staff.
• Help maintain finances for each client and manage program budget.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with community and governmental agencies, families, guardians, and staff.
• Participate in licensing reviews and plans for improvement.
