Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an IDD Quality Assurance Specialist to perform periodic audits, support staff training curricula, and oversee QA activities across units. The role emphasizes independent judgment and collaboration with the Quality Assurance Director.

The candidate should have a human service background, 5+ years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel. The job includes participation in QAPI meetings and development of quality improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field.
• Five or more years of experience with the population served.
• Experience completing record audits, data analysis and writing reports preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conducts periodic audits of service delivery settings, records, personnel, requirements, and review of services for compliance with regulations and policies.
• Conducts audits potentially including interviews with persons supported and staff.
• Observes ISP implementation and checks home/vehicle safety and upkeep.
• Completes audit reports to support quality improvement.
• Performs follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Participates in QAPI meetings and assists with data analysis for trend identification and QIP development.
