Job summary

Saint Francis Ministries seeks a Job Trainer to provide required support, supervision, coaching, mentoring, and training to developmentally disabled individuals in home and work settings. Responsibilities include mentoring client relationships with employers and staff, breaking down tasks, supervising and documenting daily outcomes, and ensuring client safety and adherence to plans.

The role involves on-site supervision, comprehensive training, and active participation in regular staff meetings.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass drug screen, MVR, MS State Background Check and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance; pass a physical exam & TB skin test.

Responsibilities

• Mentor clients in developing relationships with employers, co-workers and community.
• Provide direct on-site support by breaking down tasks and teaching job functions.
• Supervise clients and ensure safety and appropriate behavior in the workplace and community.
• Document daily notes and ensure outcomes meet the Plan of Services for each participant.
• Observe jobsites to determine alignment with client skills and needs.
