Job summary

I Am Boundless seeks a Direct Support Professional to join our Independence, OH team. This full-time role provides direct programming, dietary, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping supports to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, following individualized plans and documenting services as required.

You will assist with meal preparation, safe food handling, household tasks, transportation when needed, and the maintenance of accurate inventories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Minimum two years’ experience with intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals.
• First Aid, CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and support per individualized plans.
• Assist with documentation of services performed.
• Assist with meals, dietary needs, and dining safety.
• Assist with laundry, housekeeping, and shopping as needed.
• Transport clients as required and operate Boundless vehicles.
