Job summary

I Am Boundless is seeking a compassionate staff member in Parma, Ohio to provide direct programming and support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, under the Assistant Manager.

You will assist in dietary, laundry, toileting, and housekeeping tasks, document services, and help maintain safety and daily living activities according to IP plans. This role requires good English communication, reliable transportation, and teamwork in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent; must be able to communicate in English, including both spoke and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct programming and support to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist in development and implementation of Individual Plans (IP’s).
• Assist in the implementation of care requirements for residents in Supported Living and Respite.
• Document services performed and maintain household files in compliance with standards.
• Prepare and assist with nutritious meals directed by a Dietician; manage labeling and inventory of food and dietary supplies.
• Keep food storage and dining areas clean and sanitary; assist in cleaning shared areas of the home.
• Ensure safety, health, and well-being of residents; report unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Attend training and staff meetings; manage resident funds and inventory of clothing and possessions.
• Transport clients as needed; operate Boundless vehicles or personal vehicle.
