The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is hiring aDay Program Instructor fortheir IDD division. Under supervision of the TxHmL Day Program Coordinator, the Day Program Instructor 1 renders daily habilitation/individualized skills & Socialization service delivery in accordance with the definitions of the state Agency service guidelines and includes the specified elements. Provides direct care for consumers served through day programs. Provides support activities that support community integration. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining documentation in accordance with state Agency guidelines. Organizes data and tracks submission of unit documentation. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Works as a member of a multidisciplinary care team to provide assistance to consumers. Performs duties with maximum level of supervision.
