Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is hiring a Veterinary Technician to work in our Emergency department. This full-time ICU technician role includes triage, CPR initiation, IV/catheter placement, ventilator care, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS, with 3x12 or 4x10 shifts, and shift differentials for nights and weekends. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician credentials preferred: LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history for ICU cases.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVs and advanced catheters (Jugular/Central/PICC lines).
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with other technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Reunite patients with their pet parents after treatment.
