Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Critical Care Veterinary Technician in Nashville, TN. The role supports ICU and Emergency & Critical Care teams, coordinating admissions, patient flow, and advanced therapies.

The position offers full-time day shift with flexible 3-12s or 4-10s schedules, and a compensation range of $21-$33 per hour plus shift differential. Opportunities exist for growth within a leading veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a 24-hour emergency or specialty hospital.
• Advanced critical care nursing skills and ICU workflow proficiency.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Complete ICU admissions and support efficient patient movement from ER to ICU.
• Perform advanced critical care procedures per hospital protocols.
• Initiate and monitor complex therapies including transfusions and ventilation.
• Assist with thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, and other procedures.
• Support handoffs between day and overnight teams and adapt priorities.
• Mentor less experienced Vet Techs and Assistants.
