Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville is looking for a Daytime ICU/Emergency Veterinary Technician. This role allows you to practice advanced medicine in a supportive team environment focused on critical care and complex case management. Candidates should have 2–3+ years in veterinary hospitals, preferably with emergency and ICU experience. Competitive pay starts at $21.00–$25.00/hr, with more for licensed technicians. Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of veterinary hospital experience required.
• Emergency, ICU, or Specialty experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced technical proficiency in anesthesia, emergency procedures, and critical patient monitoring.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable managing complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and continuous monitoring for ICU and emergency patients.
• Assist with emergency stabilization, triage, and urgent interventions.
• Perform advanced technical procedures, including IV catheter placement and blood collection.
• Communicate patient updates, treatment plans, and next steps to clients.
