Qualifications

• Must possess healthcare knowledge to communicate with medical professionals.
• Strong communications and customer service skills are essential; ability to defuse tense situations.
• Computer literacy not required but helpful for charting and emails.

Responsibilities

• Performs unit-receptionist activities including coordinating communications and handling requests.
• Assists with patient discharge/transfer processes and documents in Epic Care PATH.
• Transports ambulatory/wheelchair patients as directed by the RN and coordinates clinical data collection.
