Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center in the Chicago area. Requires 2+ years of ICU acute care and an active IL RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Cerner charting experience is required, and travel or float duties may apply.

The role includes night shifts (3x12), weekend requirements, and floating across Cook facilities within 50 miles. This contract offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Active IL RN license required in hand upon consideration (no pending licenses accepted).
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience required.
Cerner charting experience required.

Responsibilities

ICU setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
No block scheduling permitted.
Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month).
Mandatory float facility across ICU units; may float to Med-Surg units to support staffing.
