Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU ICU RN for a critical care float pool in a Level 1 trauma academic medical center in Massachusetts. Requires active MA RN license, BLS/CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA, and 2+ years ICU experience.

Position features 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 36 hours weekly, with travel-related benefits and per diem options. Housing allowance and licensure support available for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in hand.
• BLS/CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications required.
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience.
• Level 1 trauma center experience required.

Responsibilities

• Critical Care Float Pool unit within the PCS department.
• Medical ICU patient population.
• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 36 hours per week.
• Floating across the critical care float pool.
• No charge nurse responsibilities required.
• Care provided within a Level 1 trauma academic medical center setting.
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays.
• Vaccinations include COVID vaccine + booster and flu shot (medical exemptions allowed).
• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required depending on campus.
• Maximum of 3 days RTO allowed, with no holiday RTO approved.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application.
• Previous BILH employees must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius, as local candidates are not accepted for this role.
