Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN licensure, and BLS; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be needed depending on the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Use nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of interventions.
