Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical-Trauma ICU in the Montgomery, Alabama area. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, and will use the nursing process for patient assessments and interventions.

The role involves collaboration with physicians and other clinicians to plan and implement patient care, with additional duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending upon area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Other duties within the scope of the role may be assigned.
