Job summary

UofL Health, Inc. is seeking experienced RNs for the Float Pool in Louisville, Kentucky. Candidates should have at least 2 years of acute care inpatient experience and possess a current Kentucky RN license. This position includes opportunities to float among three major hospitals with competitive pay rates of $55/hour for PCU Float and $57/hour for ICU Float.

The RN Float will provide essential nursing care, support patient assessments, collaborate with healthcare teams, and uphold high safety standards during patient care interventions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience.
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license required.
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per established policies and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and administer medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Advocate for patient and family preferences and safety.
