Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse I - RN for the Surgical ICU (4HS) on a full-time night shift at the NYP/Columbia University Medical Center. You will deliver evidence-based care to critically ill adults and work within a premier Level 1 trauma and tertiary care system.

The role requires a NYS RN license, a BC LS certification, and ICU acute care experience; the hospital offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least one year of acute care RN experience in an ICU or two years of Stepdown experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care in the Surgical ICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient care.
• Maintain on-site presence and adhere to NYP policies.

This is a full time 12-hour night shift position location at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center.

Required Criteria

• At least one year of acute care RN experience in an ICU or two years of Stepdown experience.
