Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed by the Michigan Board of Nursing within 2 months of hire date.
• American Heart Association BLS certification obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans to optimize length of stay, resource use, and outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support, addressing fears and anxiety.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform procedures like dressing changes and glucose monitoring.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and respond to acute changes in condition.
• Collaborate with case managers to ensure smooth discharge planning and follow-up care.
