Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years of related clinical nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the Henry Ford Health system.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to float to multiple locations within Henry Ford Health system and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across the unit, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications or changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
• Rapidly orient to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality improvement and safe care standards.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled to meet staffing needs.
