Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for full-time care in our 18-bed unit, a step-down cardiovascular and neurosurgical population in Fort Smith, AR. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments to ensure evidence-based practice.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, ACLS and BLS (or within 90 days), and at least 1 year of bedside experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in the state and/or compact licensure.
• ACLS and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications (or within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
