Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN, is hiring a full-time ICU Stepdown RN for day shifts (7am-7pm). You will lead patient care plans, coordinate a multidisciplinary team, monitor patients and communicate changes, and support safe discharges.

Minimum requirements include Indiana RN license, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered and retirement benefits, PTO, tuition assistance are available.

Qualifications

• ICU stepdown experience preferred in a high acuity setting.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient clinical journey with personalized care plans prioritizing safety and recovery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, holistic treatment and clear communication.
• Advocate for patients by monitoring conditions and notifying the care team of critical changes.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate a clear home recovery plan with resources.
